What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga therapy is a personalized approach that combines the ancient practice of yoga with modern therapeutic techniques to support your well-being. Unlike traditional yoga classes, yoga therapy is tailored to your unique needs – whether you’re managing stress, healing from trauma, or looking to improve your physical health. Through mindful movement, breathwork (pranayama), meditation, healing touch (with permission), Ayurveda and more, our goal is to help you build strength, foster inner peace, and empower your growth journey.

Yoga therapy is defined by IAYT as the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship that includes personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices for individuals or small groups.
IAYT’s mission is to advance yoga therapy as a recognized health profession.
In addition to our trainings, we have accumulated over 1000 hours of training to become Certified Yoga Therapists. The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) has approved and certified us (C-IAYT).

Hi, I’m Ahbra! I believe in creating and holding a safe and welcoming space for everyone. My passion is helping individuals and families of all ages find healing and hope through personalized yoga practices. I’m a mom of 6, Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), RYT, Certified Health Coach, neuroscience geek, voracious learner, Ayurvedic yoga specialist student, with over 10 years experience teaching yoga in schools and in therapeutic settings.

Hi, I’m Lisa! My approach is to gently guide, educate and empower clients to rediscover strength, balance and vitality where they can find the healthiest version of themselves. I’m a dedicated Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), E-RYT 500, Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Personal Trainer and mom of 2. I specialize in holistic nutrition, stress management, and yoga for better aging and have been in the health and wellness space for over 20 years!
