A Note About Kids
I believe kids are a gift. How lucky are we to see their eyes sparkle and watch them grow and navigate their experiences that will shape their adult life? My approach gives kids space to be kids. There is no “box” to fit into. My goal is to maintain a peaceful and safe environment for them to feel welcome and at ease. Whether you’re a busy parent that has to bring your little one along for an appointment or you’re the parent coming along for your child’s appointment, there is a place for you here.

Why Try Yoga Therapy?
Many of us feel disconnected and imbalanced which can show up as dis-ease in the body and mind. This shows up like stress, anxiety, burnout, gastrointestinal challenges, fatigue, sleeping difficulties, and chronic pain to name just a few.
Yoga Therapy helps bring us back to a sense of balance with an individualized, holistic and complimentary approach to healing. This incorporates yoga’s sister science of Ayurveda, essential oils, lifestyle design, energy management, breathing techniques, meditation, mindfulness, somatic movement, inward and outward awareness and exploration, physical postures (asana), nervous system regulation techniques, self-care and so much more.

Initial Assessment
up to 75 minutes- A thorough intake assessment for up to 75 minutes based on health history, desired goals, and physical, mental and energetic layers of being.
Follow Up visit
up to 50 minutes- One follow up visit for current clients.
Follow Up Child Visit
up to 30 minutes- One follow up visit for current clients under 17 years old.

Intake + 3 Follow Ups- Initial assessment up to 75 minutes

Join us for a fun mix of stories, movement, and mindfulness for preschool children. Kids will enjoy a laid-back storytime as they listen to an engaging book and try simple yoga poses. We’ll be cultivating social connection and making movement fun! Each class will end with a short relaxation practice. Every kid of every ability is welcome. Parents are invited to take a break and enjoy some tea while we enjoy the book. Registration is required.

Rest & Reconnect: Releasing the Weight You Carry
You’re invited to find deep rest through Yoga Therapy and Yoga Nidra with tools to release emotional fatigue that comes from navigating difficult relationships or caregiving. Magic Rest: Finding Your Calm Place
The kid’s session of Rest & Reconnect for ages 6-12 yrs. This playful, age-appropriate class aims to help children explore relaxation techniques and gentle movement through storytelling, imagination, and Yoga Nidra designed just for them! Kids will learn to recognize emotions, release tension from their bodies, and discover how rest can feel safe and fun. The goal is to help children unwind from any unspoken stress they might carry while providing tools they can use to find peace on their own.

I’m the proud mom of 6 kids, a rescue dog and 2 cats, Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Health Coach and hold certificates in Applied Neuroscience and Brain Health, Neuroencoding, Trauma Informed Yoga, and many various yoga certificates including a specialization in kid’s yoga. I’m also an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist student.

What's In A Name?
When I completed my 200 hr yoga teacher training in 2012 and became a certified health coach in 2013, I was ready to create a business name. I’m lucky enough to be part of a family of creative people that are fun, hysterical, artistic, musical and full of ideas! Who better to help me think of a name than my kids?
The criteria was it had to represent some version of motherhood/parenting/nurturing, yoga and give a nod to overall health. My name, Ahbra (pronounced like candleabra), means mother of the earth or mother of many so I wanted to honor that as well.
The list was fun and the brainstorming sessions were often. One name was so ridiculous, approachable, silly and meaningful…. and we couldn’t forget it. I hope you don’t either! ❤️
